Julie D. Ngo is a Houston based artist and local eye doctor (yes, you read that correctly).

Because so much of our learning and experience is through sight, I understand how much art can speak to people without words. I love creating personal statement pieces for clients in their intimate space.

My scope consists of figures, geometrics, and landscapes but often with an abstracted view point. I work with a variety of mediums and materials including acrylics, alcohol ink, watercolors, and some mix media. I try not to restrict myself to a particular style, but I do find myself drawn to colors and eyes (I am an eye doctor after all). I love that art does not confine one to rules, but allows for expression, experimentation, and open interpretation.

I also provide services for hand written calligraphy for local weddings and chalkboard projects. My latest obsession has been mural projects. Thus, I am anxiously awaiting for the next person to make that big commitment with me. It will be great!

It simply starts with an idea. The goal is a perfect blend of your aesthetics integrated with the creative process provided by E Squared Arts.

It is my happy space, happy place.

I am currently accepting commission work.

The Process

Consultation

It all begins with an idea.

We start by understanding your desired aesthetics and style. Then color palettes, mediums, materials, and sizing are discussed.

Brainstorming

Pencil to paper.

Ideas are sketched out using the client’s preliminary requests. Clients can review, choose one of their preference, and make edits within reasonable artistic means.

Creation

Let it flow.

Materials are ordered and the process begins. Depending on project scope and size, most projects are finished within 2 weeks.
